“ Gotta Be” was created at MeLoX old studio space in Flatbush Brooklyn. I remember it like it was yesterday. MeLo was searching through some records and landed on this Deniece Williams track “ Free” …I made the “ ooou this is fire face” MeLo zoned out and went to work like a mad scientist and the rest is history. This is just 1 of many jams that we have in the vault. So excited to finally be able my share this vibe. “Gotta be” is about the importance of remaining who you are and not bending for anyone else.
