ELJR-CRKS-CRSS / from cracks on an old building <Euljiro Patterns> This “Euljiro Patterns” series is based on photographs that the artist took in a heavily industrial area known as Euljiro. The soon-to-be vanished area has many different Korean cultures and numerous people’s sweat that made Korea a strong industrial country. Due to the wave of capitalism, the old ‘Euljiro’ will be moved out soon. This project presented a new way of archiving things as multi-use designs, and the goal was to expand their application to commemorate the area.
