The title of my piece refers to the jargon used by the people about the train that used to link the town of Kayes, the economic center with its gold mines, to the Malian capital Bamako and to Dakar.
Today, if this train does not circulate any more, I wanted, after having collected very touching and moving testimonies during a stay in this zone to express myself on this subject.
It is a tribute to all the populations of the world who manage as they can to survive.
