I was exploring the Milky Way with a telephoto lens when a meteor blazed past with a green tail.
Meteors are rare to see and to capture one on film live in a tiny region of the night sky was even rarer. I often miss capturing meteors by being out of frame using a wide angle lens and they often look small as opposed to a telephoto where you have a narrow field of view.
Shortly after the meteor I move towards the galactic centre where you can see nebulas, star clusters, supermassive black hole and the dust lanes which make the shape of the Milky Way core.
