As an extreme weather photographer, every attempt to mitigate risk is taken so that we can live to chase another day. On this day a bolt came flying overhead and landed a few miles away on the far east side of Tucson, Arizona. The remaining sunlight popped enough color to turn the sky magenta, and the landing bolt added such a perfect finishing touch.
