Anyone who attempts to capture lightning in the southwest knows how challenging it can be. On this day, a storm moved off of the Rincon Mountains east of Tucson, Arizona and directly overhead. I was unable to do anything but to pull over the side of the road and let the deluge pound my car with heavy wind and rain. After several minutes the sun peeked through the clouds from the west. A rainbow became readily visible, but I was still getting drenched in the rain.
