Horses, Snow, skijoring and Montana-Historic Postcard shop by Anna Wilding
An old shoppe in a Rocky mountains,Montana. I have been photographing humans relationships with horses on & off for years! Skijoring started in 1910..to reflect that I wanted that feel of a simple old school camera & sense of nostalgia in the present day. Held often in temperatures low as 3 degrees F it is fast and dangerous. Expert riders and skiers reach top speeds of 60 mph . This was photographed in Montana in the depths of winter at 5 degrees F. I am an award wining photographer and filmmaker and many month long solo and group exhibits. My work hangs in multiple collections worldwide .
