Nor-Cal Flow is a project spanning the course of three collections, which will showcase the amazing water features that Northern California has to offer.

Every summer, the entire state endures difficult wildfire seasons, with some of the most breathtaking areas in California being destroyed in the process.  In 2021 alone, one third of Lassen National Park has burned, all of Lake Tahoe was at risk of burning, and many other lesser known areas were also at risk; thousands of people have been displaced and/or lost their homes.

Forty percent of the places captured in this first collection have burned, potentially making these images the last of their kind, and they will never be the same in our lifetimes.

I have strived to capture the beauty of these places, frozen in time, and 20% of all the profits from all three collections will be donated to the California Wildfire Relief Fund.

Nor-Cal Flow Volume I

A wrong turn down a random road resulted in finding this gem of a spot. After doing some research I found that this lake and set of cabins is called Mosquito Lake. Not only was this spot a lucky find, but these weather conditions also created a scene that felt like winning the lottery. Getting stormy weather conditions around Lake Tahoe in the middle of summer is something that happens maybe one time per year. This image is one of my favorites that I have ever captured. This location has also survived 2 fires that burned extremely close to this lake. Luckily this spot lives on for future people to stumble across and experience the pure beauty.
