Based on the Armenian legend.
JUK U JAMANAK - a personification of time in Armenian mythology. A gray-haired old man, sitting on top of a high mountain (in the sky). As a time manager, he holds two balls of yarn in his hands - white and black. He descends one ball on one side of the mountain, while unwinding it, he winds up the second ball by lifting it on the other side of the mountain. When the white ball (symbolizing the day, the daytime sky), unwinding, reaches the bottom, the sun brightens and rises. When he rolls up a white ball, and the black (symbol of the night, the night sky), unwinding, brings it down, it gets dark and the sun sets.
