Day of The Dead: Catrina 8

Dia de Los Muertos, or Day of The Dead, is, somewhat counterintuitive, a celebration of life, is held on November 1 and 2, and is a holiday that involves family and friends gathering to pray for and to remember friends and family members who have died. Perhaps the most famous "character" associated with the celebration is "La Calavera Catrina" by Mexican lithographer José Guadalupe Posada, first seen as a political cartoon mocking Mexican women who tried to emulate the Spanish upper crust in dress and manner.
