Photosculpting is an alchemy of longing for a material result that might unleash a profoundly relevant and mindfully private psycho-spiritual sal(i)vation.   The artist, through the application of vast array of unique technical skills cultivates, incubates, and manipulates aesthetically significant fields / canvases,  enabling the amassing of vital energy in accordance with a real life-death cycle for the raw material, which must be captured as the aesthetic and compositional values achieve full manifestation of visual potency.  At the pinnacle of the materials life cycle camera technology is used to harvest / document the composition achieved through an act of mindfulness to the fleeting and volatile process  as compositional values which ultimately unfold into the death of all aesthetic value.   The processes enable visual realms while the camera allows for the artist to bear witness and share the living drama.

Photosculpted works aim to show a balance of opposite characteristics: chaotic / rhythmical; light / dark; bold / subdued; frenetic / calm; obvious / esoteric; confrontational /  meditative...through a simultaneous presentation of both macro and micro subject environments.   A Photosculpted work is considered a Process Memory Document.   The subject matter must clearly demonstrate to the viewer that growth and transformation are literally present (as photo documentation).
