綿秋（わたあき）: 秋に綿の実の熟する頃を指す。 またはその収穫そのもの。秋が深まりゆっくりと、町も山も冬籠の準備を始める。密やかな空気が漂う季節。 Wataaki : Refers to the ripening of cottonseed in the fall. Or the harvest itself. Slowly, as autumn deepens, both towns and mountains begin to prepare for winter baskets. This is the season of dense air.
