Officially the worst decision Jim was ever involved in was passing on Warren Buffett as CryptoMifflin's new General Manager.  After Deangelo lost major clients, the trust of the women of the office, and eventually his brain, Warren Buffett would have been the life preserver that got them through the storm.  But because of some inane questions about long distance he was discounted as a loser.  A swing and a miss search committee.
