Holokai (#MonkSealRG40) seems pretty pleased with himself after his first molt, a little over a year old. Hawaiian monk seals go through a molting process, where they shed the entire top layer of fur and skin to remove the algae that grows in it due to the amount of time they spend in the water. This process happens once a year and often the first molt is delayed a bit for these juvenile seals.
