Aceh Province. The contrasting play of light and shadow attracted me to this scene in the backstreets of a poor area of Lhokeseumawe City. I knew it'd be a great shot, and when the elderly lady poked her head out of the window things got better. But just then the lady on the right emerged from the shadows, and I knew it was one of those sublime moments photography is made to capture!
