Corroded Illusion

Dreamscapes that are a joyous detour from the unpleasantness and chaos in life that deny us peace and mindfulness. My work is an escape from the unpleasantness and stress in life that denies us peace. Each mark influences the next as the layers defy obstacles and let the joy shine through. The beginning of a painting is more of a release and the ending is more intentional to make all the parts feel synchronized. My paintings are a symphony of gestures strung together similar to dream-like lyrics. The ending has to come together much like a hypnotic melody to make the composition synchronized.
