Bitwork

'Underbelly of the Beast' is a collaged drawing from 2021, part of a series called 'Variations'. Although these pieces serve as experiments for possible Torqued Paintings they also serve as a document of what was in the news at the end of 2020 and early 2021. These are creative tribulations to life as it slowly emerged from the pandemic, the social injustice movement and politics in the US. Each drawing is constructed with coloured Canson paper adhered to Lenox drawing paper. There are twelve drawings in this series.
