Bitwork

'Fading Times II' is from a very small series of Torqued Painting which came to life by using a specific shaped canvas built for the 2001 Artcite exhibition 'Untitled, (but thoughtfully known as the sexual divide'. This installation of canvases were site specific to the space and varied in sizes. A few years after the exhibition I choose to use one of the frames for a private commission in which I experimented with a blending technique using acrylic paint. At the time I was thinking about the passage of time and memories. There are currently three paintings in this series.
