Atrium Fleur #4

The main subject of my artwork are flowers. I re-imagine flowers while experimenting with glitch. Flowers are an easy subject because I’m surrounded by them and they make me happy. For several months these flowers existed alone in space, floating on a page. I began to explore geometric shapes in order to frame the flowers and give them an environment, a showcase. The pink Protea King Sugarbush and the Dancing Lady Orquid are the leading characters of this series. The name Protea is derived from Greek god Proteus who had the ability to transform himself into many different shapes.
