Space Shuttle Discovery Night Launch

Noted as the final night launch of NASA's Space Shuttle program. There were a few daytime launches after this. But this was the last time the shuttle lit up the night sky. This is the Space Shuttle Discovery embarking on its STS-131 Mission; as seen from Orlando, FL. The launch occurred from Kennedy Space Center; which is over 50 miles away from this location. It was incredible to see the sky glowing orange beyond that building, before seeing the shuttle come into view. This was the apartment complex where I was living at the time.
