Colombian pumpkin vendor: A story of “women empowerment”. ART by merypuyo.

This pumpkin vendor is a tribute to all these hard working Colombian women that go out to sell to provide some economic means to their families. Many of these women are single mothers because their husbands abandon them and their kids. For me these women are true heroes and a symbol of women empowerment. Her eyes and her attitude transmits to me all this positivity and optimism that they show every day with the illusion of selling out and bringing that money back home.
