The Journey

This Weimaraner in boots was created in 2015 at a dog show in Louisville, Kentucky. The dogs name, fittingly, is Journey. Photographing dogs in boots was a project of mine for a few years, and this has always been a standout. The way Journey is looking down at the boots has always felt, to me, like he was preparing himself for a long road ahead.
