The 24th February, Russian President Vladimir Putin launched the offensive on Ukraine with the aim of curbing the neighbouring country’s desire to join NATO. After several weeks of heavy fighting, in which Russia has been bombing and trying to conquer Ukraine, causing thousands of deaths on both sides, finally, Putin government and the Zelensky government sit down to negotiate and end up signing a peace agreement before the summer of 2022, in which Russia will annex the Donbas region and agree that Ukraine will not be able to join NATO.
