There are scattered forests of grey fronds. The land is a maze of steep valleys. Grazing spotted herbivores with fivefold symmetry are held aloft by gas bags. They move in a sudden burst at mid-day and then fall silent. Frequent strong solar flares cause beautiful displays of light in the sky and make electronics all but useless.
