Out of the Woods

From out of the woods, into the open field. The woods were dark but provided a shield. Now: will her fate in the open be sealed? As a kid, I loved the backgrounds in animation films. Especially landscapes of nature. Nature is hard to tame. When you're outside, in the middle of it, trying to put it onto a canvas, it can be very daunting. I wanted to recreate that feeling; the beauty and the adventure that nature can offer us.
