My photographic journey started in 1992. Over the past 30 years I have photographed many subjects with landscape and travel at the forefront. Light is the most important aspect of my work, I work at the best times of day using natural light for my landscape work and a mix of ambient and artificial light for my travel and architecture work. I never tire of the hunt for that perfect image. 
Being stood behind the camera is my escape from the norm, capturing moments in time that I can look back on and which transport me back to that moment in time.
Each of the unique 1/1 images in this collection include a signed aluminium print.

Even though the forecast wasn't that promising I got myself out of bed and walked along through the deserted streets of Venice to this viewpoint overlooking Grand canal. Surprisingly I had the view to myself on this morning !, the previous evening I was jostling for space amongst tons of people. Using a dark filter and long exposure this created a nice colour shift and blurred the water nicely. No direct sun but sometimes that works out better.
