Black Church.

The famous black church at Budir in Iceland. I wanted to shoot something that fitted with the texture and colour of this church and black and white was the best choice. This little wooden church sits in an isolated spot in South Iceland, I can only imagine the weather it gets exposed to !. I set up within the compound and used these two grass clumps as foreground making sure the church was vertical with my wide angled lens. A simple composition and some nice cloud detail was all that was needed.
