Queen of diamonds

The Queen of Diamonds depicts Rachel or Ragnel, as she is called on the French deck, likely a reference to the Biblical figure who was the wife of Sir Gawain, and seen holding a flower. Since she was a shepherdess, a lamb is often found in works of art depicting her.
