A new *Haniwa* (terracotta tomb figurines) was created with VR plastic tools based on the motif of the National Treasure "Tomb Sculptures (*Haniwa*): Warrior in *Keikō* Armor."
I consider *Haniwa* is the first three-dimensional object in Japan to be decorated as a samurai, and the Age of Civil Wars States saw an outburst of decorative samurai armor, which could just be the root of plastic models and robot animation in the modern age.
This work connects *Haniwa* as "the earliest figure" with modern plastic models.
*Haniwa* was plasticized by clay, and I used VR tools and 3DCG like clay to create this work.
