Zero Fox: Kitsune

The kitsune is a trickster, involving itself in the comings and goings of whomever it pleases, eager to cause distress for the sake of distress; the juniper bonsai is a protector, a symbol of longevity. This is a dichotomy of beliefs, intertwined in nature and reality but clashing in their mythos, a symbiotic forest relationship that turns on its heads once observed. And a fox would have it no other way. This series represents my weird obsession with these tricksters, from the kitsune mythology, to the Saharan fennec fox, to Starfox on the N64.
