Painted over 1 month, and filmed on April 11, 2018, 1:30PM EST, Temperature: 50 degrees fahrenheit, Location: Queens, NYC, length: 60 minutes
Materials used: Acrylic paint and ink, metallic dust, tea, ice
Provenance: The 60 minute version was shown once in 2018 at LincolnCenter, NYC.
Description: This is a rare instance where I incorporated a photographic image into the piece. It's a massive uprooted tree stump I came across while hiking in Glacier National Park in Montana. The glacier metaphor is especially relevant, given that this work is made within melting ice.
