Eva Beresin - Berggasse 19

This edition of a NFT is based on a keywork by Eva Beresin, whose fantastic and phantasmagorical paintings can be seen as overcoming censorship once and for all. At Berggasse 19 Sigmund Freud was living and receiving patients on his famous couch covered with carpets, until he had to flee from the Nazis to London. The lady on the picture lies naked on the couch, with coffee and cigarette, while the figure representing Freud is holding the emblematic cigar in the hand, which at the same time points to the listening ear.
