GOING WITH THE FLOW

I have always felt free while creating through oil pastels. The texture and the the roughness gives me the spontaneous joy which i don't get sometimes the other mediums .We can relate this with our life as the roughness in our fate and the downs in our life becoming more prominent, we still try to remain afloat and find the other end eventually. I have tried to symbolize this through the flow of the river. This work has been created by a reference photograph where i have tried to capture the motion and the willingness to go with the flowing river as our lives to keep flowing in the similar manner.
