CAPTIVE IN DESPAIR

This artwork is one of the works of my WARRIOR series.I have tried to depict a story and mood through this entire series based on war and the consequences and emotions during it through portraits. I am taking a leaf out from the greats of MATISSE and PICASSO of studying AFRICAN MASKS and in my own way i have tried to create stories out of it. I am a firm believer of the thought that in our creative journey there are bound to be dark phases which must be reflected upon on our artwork.
