What do you want to be when you grow up? The question became dysfunctional after the pandemic. My students were skeptical of this question. They were afraid of never growing up. To never grow up. Can a sentence slap a person? When my students heard the news of his death in the press, they thought they would never grow up. A masked boy would grow up to be an adult human like in the reflection.
