Writing with Light #11

Artist: Jack Marr Location: Byron Bay, New South Wales Year: 2020 Edition 1/1 The word photograph was coined based on the Greek words, φῶς (phos) and γραφή (graphê) meaning "light" and "writing" respectfully, directly translating to "Writing with Light." This collection consists of 20 curated 1/1 photographs captured between 2017 and 2021. Since I began my photographic journey through the grasp of a camera at 12 years of age, my main objective has been to hold the opportunity to “write” with each wavelength of light from unique and captivating perspectives. This collection represents my appreciation and exploration of light and colour within my backyard I call Australia.
