Time is a mystic human made absurdity. The abstraction of death. Death is inevitable. Memento mori is the artistic trope acting as a reminder of the inevitability of death. The concept has its roots in the philosophers of classical antiquity and is often a reminder that we can’t escape death and life is impermanent. Remembering that death is the end of our experience of the physical realm, we tend to cherish every moment and desire to live our lives loving every moment of it.
