68 North #22 – Hillside Views

Hiking in the steep mountains can be risky during spring in these regions, especially with unstable temperatures. On this day, however, it felt ok. So, accompanied by a couple of skiers, we headed up to an area where the snow was still good. During the time we left the car and until we reached the high point, we had everything from sun to heavy snow. It was a tough but spectacular hike and the view back down is what you see here.
