Joy

Over the years, a lot of people have tried to define joy. While I do not cast aspersion on their various definitions, I thought it wise to add mine. Joy is not event infused, nor is it situation compelled. Joy is a creation of our own effort and mind. The best definitions of joy do not come from an element outside of an individual. Nobody would define or capture what you and I call joy other than ourselves. To you it is a feeling from a successful enterprise. To yet another, it is the tingling feeling from the littlest of things. In summary; "You're the author of your joy!"
