Second in a series of 5 pieces created early in 2021 - all made over the course of a week suffering from chronic headaches as I trialled new medications. Fortunately painting took the edge off, as an alternate focus to the pain and allowed me to channel the emotions the sensation of the headache, combined with the frustration of stress and depression can combine. Headache II is composed of acrylic paint applied with brushes, and chalk markers. As this was created traditionally, as a physically piece, it has been scanned at 600 dpi and saved in PNG format. Editing is minimal, such as minor highlight/shade adjustments to ensure the digital version is a true reflection of the physical.
