Sunrise has been my all time favourite subject in my landscape photography career. I love photographing the sunrise as it represents "hope", the hope that starts every new day, the hope that makes us believe, the hope that keeps us strong.

The photos in this collection are my best sunrise captures in the past 5 years, some were taken in the city, others in the nature; some are full of joy, others are sentimental... Here you will see how Mr. Sun shows off his brilliant light to make these scenes dramatical and splendid. I always love the unpredictable factors while chasing sunrises because each sunrise I captured has its own story, and there are no two same sunrises.

If Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?

This was definitely one of the chilliest mornings, the temperature hit -32 Degree Celsius (with wind chill). I knew I would see some unusual scenes with such a lower temperature. It didn't disappoint, it turned out to be a gorgeous one.  The burning clouds made a great contrast with the frozen lakeshore, and the cold air created beautiful steam on the lake. But meanwhile my fingers felt numb and like coming off... this is what photographers do in Winter.
