#9. Fairytale Express II

"Captured on the same day as "#1. Fairytale Express" but at a slightly different time and in the opposite direction. This is one of the most picturesque trestles I have ever photographed. It isn't special due to immense size or an exceptionally grand location, but instead the peaceful nature of the area and the beauty that surrounds it. This is a very small train trestle in comparison to many of the other abandoned ones on Vancouver Island. But it goes across a beautiful little lake and has some excellent wide open views of the skies above. It truly makes for an excellent location for photography, infrared or not.
