TEKE MASK

The Teke people, live mainly in the Democratic Republic of Congo. As it were, Africa was divided without considering the tribes, so there is a minority of Bateke People in Gabon. Teke People Speak the Teke Languages, and are classified amongst the Bantu Central African language group of people. This tribe is a trading tribe, as Teke means 'to sell'. Teke people are also excellent hunters, skilled fishermen and traders. Teke people chose Blacksmiths as Chiefs.
