Fermata Collection

The first in the "Wasteland" series which combines my background in Asian watercolor painting with 35mm film photograph backgrounds - in this case artifact photos that are found in the beginnings / ends of the scanned film rolls. Usually discarded, I began to be fascinated with these photos and the surreal / ethereal textures that they create and drew traditional Asian, nature based themes in the foreground.
