The Floating World collection by KEITA AOYAGI is a voyage and exploration of the Edo period in Japan. It features many characters and elements from that era.

The artworks are original, hand drawn, and unique. Inspired by the Japanese UKIYO-e (浮世絵) style.

KEITA AOYAGI has been drawing cartoon and illustrations for almost 20 years and counting.

The floating world

A general who leads an army, especially one who excels in martial arts. In particular, generals of the Sengoku period in Japan are called Sengoku Busho.

In Japan's Sengoku period, it sometimes refers to a war lord or his vassal who leads a group of foot soldiers recruited from samurai, farmers, and townspeople.
