Shot Through the Arch

Can you guess which Bon Jovi song I'm riffing? “Shot Through the Arch” is a composite I created after spending a glorious night at Arches National Park in Utah, at an astrophotography workshop with friends both old and new. I used to think composites were fake an unnecessary. Why not just work with natural weather conditions? That was easy for me to think, being a lifelong Californian up until almost 5 years ago. When the weather is sunny and cloud-free 90% of the time, it's easy to take ideal weather conditions for granted.
