The Musée d'Orsay is a museum in Paris, France, on the Left Bank of the Seine. It is housed in the former Gare d'Orsay, a Beaux-Arts railway station built between 1898 and 1900. The museum holds mainly French art dating from 1848 to 1914, including paintings, sculptures, furniture, and photography.
Here, I was able to see the works of Impressionist painters that we had learned from textbooks, such as Van Gogh, Monet, Manet, and Renoir, in front of my eyes and without being disturbed by anyone.
Looking down on the interior of the Musée d'Orsay, I felt an indescribable vitality. It may be due to the original use of this magnificent space.
