SCRAPYARD speaks about how I make art because I love to. In a fast moving world where attention is fickle, it is easy to stay unseen and unappreciated in the background and though the value of art is not dependent on being seen, I cannot deny that being seen and appreciated is a mild form support that only I cannot give myself. “Support” that I chose to depict in SCRAPYARD II with a more lively background that represents the importance of external support and community and a reminder that a person might be enough motivation for themselves, external support and appreciation can take them farther.
