視覚によって得られる映像は、物体による光の反射に過ぎません。昨日、突然やってきた「文鳥」の飼い主を探すために、部長は文鳥を連れて外へと出かけることにしました。雲一つない晴天に恵まれたその日は、自宅近くの噴水広場も温かい太陽の光に包まれています。

別れが突然やってくるように、変化は部長の見ていないところで突然現れました。文鳥の体は「きらきらと輝くもの」へと変化し、複雑な結晶構造へと姿かたちを変えました。羽の先端から、正六面体のような結晶を出力しており、太陽の光を浴びた結晶構造は虹色に光り輝くのでした。
