This was captured 2013 on my first visit at an Hotel that has been abandoned since the 1970s.
The Hotel Alpenhof was built between 1899 and 1902 near the shore of the lake, outside the town centre. The Alpenhof was one of several Hotels that sprung up there in those years, but probably the largest and most magnificent of them. When I visited it was like a real time capsule. Rooms with beds that still had bed linen on them. Some clothes were still there and lots of old letters from WWII and a wonderful Decay in there. I spent hours there. A great exploration back in Days. Some Years later on another visit, things looked different. Decay increased over the years and parts of the Hotel collapse...
